Note
Print of the 20' x 30' painting by Christy that hangs in the U. S. Capitol rotonda. It shows Washington standing on a rostrom, behind a desk containing the manuscript, watching the signers affix their signatures. The signers are shown sitting or standing about the room. A separate legend is available identifying the names of all the signers.
One copy of the print only has the title, but no special recognition of a distribution. The legend of the names of those pictured in the signing is affixed to the back along with the following: "Donated by Mr. Hoagland, May 1960, used in Society film."
A second copy of the print is marked as being distributed by American Picture Service, 2932 Cortland Place, N. W., Washington, D. C.
The third and fourth copies of the print are marked in the lower right hand corner: "Presented by the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of New Jersey"
