Capt. William Sizer of Col. Jeduthan Baldwin's Artificer pays "thirty eight pounds sixteen shillings to Commissary Officer Elijah Hubbard for," "... 8 yards of plain cloth ... 1 uniform coat ... 1 woolen vest ... 2 pr. woolen breeches ... 3 prs. Worsted hose ... 4 prs. shoes ..."
On verso: "Rec'd Capt William Sizer Reg't Artificer 10th June 1780."
Sizer was commissioned lieutenant on July 26, 1777, was promoted to captain whiin a year, and served with his unit at Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth.
