Note
Bust facing slightly to his left, head tilted toward center, within an oval border containing the title. A map, , cannon, balls, and an anchor below the oval frame.
It was then Vice-Admiral Boscowen, representing the Admiralty, who announced to Parliament that Byng was under arrest because the King and the Admiralty board were dissatisfied with Byng's conduct in the effort to relieve Minorca. It was also he who announced Byng's death to the Admiralty.
