This portrait appears facing p. 28 of the text of the "Trial", at which point Blakeney is recalled to testify at Byng's court martial. He testifies that he believed that he could have held out long enough for Sir Edward Hawke to supply him with reenforcements had Byng's detachment landed.
On leaf 83r of The Tragedy of Admiral Byng, 1756-1757.
