Note
An illustration of a large ferry-like boat designed to tranport large battle groups across water. The scene show soldiers on horseback galloping up the gangplank onto the boat's parade ground. In the center of the boat is a large fort-like structure with many cannon to defend the troops. On four sides are large paddle wheels that move the boat powered by windmills. In the background is another fort like boat as well as conventional sail boats. Below the title is the following description of the capacity of the boat: "Dit vaartuig is lang 600, breed 300 voeten, bezet met 500 stukken kanon, 36 en 48 ponders, en is geschikt tot transport van 15000 man troepen, tot een landing in Engeland." Five numbers appear on the engraving with a legand describing the numbered feature below the title.
