Records brigade and regimental orders enacted at the Continental Army's encampment at Fishkill, N.Y.; the emcampment became an important supply depot for the Continental Army's nothern division.
Orders for staffing, troop appointments, calling roll, accounting for arms, and ensuring food for the troops are detailed.
Includes mandatory religious services, the moral life of the camp against swearing, gaming, and drinking; problems related to discipline, treason and desertion.
Reverse of book was reused: 86 p. of account book for goods received and services rendered in area of Plattsburgh, N.Y., 1801-1802.
Bound in leather backed boards.
