Epic poem "Jumonville" (p. [3]-64): author takes the position that Washington admitted the responsibility for the "assissination" of Jumonville in 1754. Jumonville, soldier and trader, was sent on an expedition against the Indians of Louisiana. After the capture of Fort Duquesne by the French he was sent to watch the Virginians under Geore Washington, and was killed by Washington' force. A force of Canadian sent to avenge the attack was led by Jumonville's brother, Louis Coulon de Villiers
