Call Number
P&E L2005G40.76m
Note
Bust to the right, in uniform. Vignette in colored background square. Without letters.
This appears to be a photomechanical reproduction of the original engaving on a new plate. It is an illustration from Otto Trevelyan, The American Revolution (call no. 973.31 T812, 1909).
This is probably the engraving by Max Rosenthal, 1833-1918, after the full length oil painted by Francis Cotes, a student of John Reynolds, in 1761.
The Joshua Danforth Bush, Jr. Collection.
