This is the same engraving of Greene that appears in the Society of the Cincinnati's publication, Portraits of Presidents General of the Order of the Cincinnati (call no. 369.131 R475, 1887). Greene is included as the First President General of the Rhode Island Society.

Nathanael Greene was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of Rhode Island.
