Watercolor sketches of William Clark in uniform dress representing three distinct periods in his life: 1) as 1st Lieutenant, 4th Sub-Leigion, Rifle Company, 1793-1796; 2) as co-commander, Corps of Discovery for Western Exploration, 1803-1806; and 3) as Brigadier General, Missouri Militia, 1808-1815.
These sketches are part of a research project by Marko Zlatich. The text and additional illustrations are to be found in "VF Clark, William."
