Below the title is a vignette showing a bust of Washington facing front, probably based on a Stuart portrait, on a pedestal wrapped with laural leaves, surrounded by a group of Roman maidens, one with a lyre, another with a tablet with the words "Washington" at the top, along with a Roman soldier standing to the right of the statue holding a crown, with rays rising upward, above the bust of Washington. To the rear is a river with a falls to the right, and two additional soldiers. Below the engraving are the names of the artists and the words "Steel Plate" at the center.
Below the engraving is it reads: Volume XIII.
