Montgomery lies dying in the arms of his fellow soldiers as an Indian, waving a tomahawk and carrying a rifle points to the scene. The barrell of a cannon appears at the bottom of the scene. Rectangle with single line border, 1/16.
Below the lithograph is reads: Lith. & Pub. by Sarony & Major --- 131 Nassau cor. Beekerman St., York.
This lithograph is after the central section in Trumbull's The Death of Montgomery in the Attack on Quebec showing General Montgomery dying in the arms of Lieut. Matthian Ogden, while 1st Lieut. John Humphries and Colonel Joseph Lewis of the Oneida tribe look on. The body of Capt Jacob Cheeseman lies dead in the forwground next to Capt John MacPherson, who was also killed.
