William Wayne was an hereditary member of the Society of the Cincinnati representing the line of Anthony Wayne, an original member from the state of Pennsylvania and later from Georgia-Pennsylvania. William Wayne served as President General of the General Society from 1896 to 1901. He also served as President of the Pennsylvania Society from 1927-1933.
