Head and shoulders, to the left. He wears the eagle of the Society of the Cincinnati on his left lapel. The print is signed by the studio. An original signature on a slip of paper has been affixed below the print to serve as a title.
Talbot Olyphant was a member of the New York Society of the Cincinnati representing David Olyphant, an original member of the South Carolina Society who later transferred to the New York Society. Talbot Olyphant served as President of the New York Society from 1903-1922.
