George Washington on horseback, tiping his hat to a couple walking on the lawn behind Mount Vernon, which appears in the background to the left. Another rider with a dog following him appears to the right of Washington. To the far right is the Potomac River with a boat sailing north. Vignette.
On the black and white copy, in the lower right it reads: "Printed by W. Pate"
