This appears to be a photomechanical reproduction of a painting. While the style is similar to the work of the Sharples, no record seems to exist of a painting of a Louis Morris in the Sharples inventory.

This Lewis Morris was the first successor member of William Walton Morris. who was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of New York.
