"These calculations were purchased from that learned and ingenious master-piece in astronomy, Benjamin West, Esq; of Providence, and author of all the genuine calculations published under the name of Bickerstaff, for 14 years, but he disowns having any knowledge of those published in Newbury-port for 1776, and in Boston for 1777 and 1780."
