On the frame backing it reads: "Walter Dorsey, Judge, Not Soc. member. Mus. #186-F." Transfered to the Library from the Museum 2nd floor vault room in April 2000.
Dorsey was a Baltimore lawyer and judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals from 1817 to 1823.
