Head and shoulders, in profile to the right.
On the back of the frame is a metal plate reading: "Col Thom Turner." In addition, "Acc #61" has been written on the frame. This framed engraving was transferred to the Library from the Muesum 2nd floor vault in April 2000.

Thomas Turner of King Georges County, Virginia, was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from 1798-99. He was among the members of the Alexandria-Washington Lodge, No. 22 appointed to meet December 16, 1799 to make arrangements for the interment of George Washington's body.
