Hamilton Fish was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati representing his father, Nicholas Fish, from the state of New York. Hamilton Fish served as the President General of the Society Cincinnati from 1854-1893. At the same time, he also served as President of the New York Society.
A second copy, on the smaller sheet is damaged and is a part of the Thomas Collection.
