Covers the period of British occupation (secured by Colonial troops) of Louisbourg before the garrison's reinforcement by the 29th, 30th, and 45th Regiments.
In addition to the usual day-to-day details of orders books, problems of drunkenness and cleanliness, especially with regard to burial of the dead, required frequent admonitions. Fuel, food, and other supplies are often mentioned as wanting
Vellum envelope binding, stained green, with metal clasp (catch on flap cut away).
