Note
Two muses, one representing art, painting a portrait, and a second representing literature, holding a quill pen, sit below an obelisk with a laural wreath at the point and below that, in oval, a bust that looks to be of Washington, being held by an angle with two trumpets. The muse of art is painting from a group of three busts of unknown patroits. At the lower right are a stack of books, scrolls and an open volume. Two young muses are writing in the background to the left. LIne. In rectangle with two double/single line borders, each 1/16. Below the borders are the names of the artists and the title. Above the engraving it reads, "Allegorical."
