Garrison Orders Fort Schuyler. Orders apply to a garrison consisting of the 2nd New York Continental Infantry Regiment and to a detachment of Continental Artillery. Officers appointed Officer of the Day, and commanders of fatigue and guard details are named for each day; orders mainly concern daily routine of garrison duty, including internal security, trials and punishments, guard postings, patrols, distribution of rations and clothing, maintenance of living quarters and sanitary facilities.
