Washington, head, to right after Stuart in a circular medallion inserted at the top centre of an engraved frame. Around the rest of the frame are eleven smaller medallion inserts with portraits of all presidents after Washington to Taylor. Within frame, a reproduction of the signing of the Declaration of Independence by John Trumbull. Below the frame is a ribbon with title, Declaration of Independence, missing.
