On the copy on the larger sheet, below the engraving, someone has written in ink, "To the Society of Cincinnati in the state of NY from the daughter of their honorary member Major Robert Anderson --."
The second cropped copy of this engraving was originally framed. It was removed from its frame for preservation in the P&E files in the vault. It was originally numbered "68."
Robert Anderson was made an Honorary member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of New York in 1862.
