Portraits of: George Washington, Baron Von Steuben, John Jay, Henry Laurens, Charles Thomson, Horatio Gates, Gouverneur Morris, Samuel Huntington, Silas Deane, William Henry Drayton, John Dickinson, Joseph Reed, and Benedict Arnold.
Du Simitière painted his portraits from life by the end of 1779 and first published them in Paris in 1781. British engraver Reading copied them from the French ed. (with the images reversed) in 1783.
