"Two b*****rs" i.e. Thomas Pelham-Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Hon. Henry Pelham.
Signatures: [pi]2 A-K4.
Author charges that the manipulations of the two brothers let to the failures and mismanagement of the British forces during the War of Austrian Succession, and to the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748. Among the losses of this treaty was the restoration of Louisbourg and Cape Breton Island to the French, he makes several references in the text to Louisbourg and Cape Breton, and discusses the significance of their loss to England.
