Eleven Pennsylvania regiments (except for the 8th) are divided into the first and second brigades) and show a total of 1,851enlisted men among them. No names are included, only the number of sergeants, drummers and fifers, and rank and file.
According to Joseph Rubinfine, the totals vary with monthly returns found at the Clements Library.
