Josiah and Samuel Elliott were merchants and Connecticut's agents in Boston. Goods, possibly obtained from a foraging mission, include flannel, wool, and linen; butter, raisins, port wine, and tea; nails, flints, wrought iron, and ground lead, most on the order of Governor Trumbull, probably for the war effort.
