In appreciation of General Ko'sciuszko's service to America during the Revolutionary War, Congress appropriated over $15,000 which was due him and made him a land grant of 500 acres in Ohio. This bill is for interest on the $12,280.54 due to him from 1789 to 1797 at the rate of 6 percent per annum.
