Beneath the affadavit of Parke and Cooper is another certification signed J. Warren Commissioner of the late Navy Board East[er]n Department (father of James Warren, Jr.)
On verso: statement in an unidentified hand citing Congressional resolutions dealing with such pension applications.
Naval engagement occurred 28 May 1781 when the Alliance under John Barry took the British warships Atalanta and Trepassey.
