The 5th Connecticut was from 16 Nov. 1779 part of the 2nd Connecticut Brigade which was assigned to the Main Army until 27 Nov. 1780.
Bradley and Henshaw were original members of the Connecticut Society of the Cincinnati; other original members named include Daniel Bradley, Albert and Elijah Chapman, Samuel Hait, Jonathan Johnson, Thaddeus Keeler, Cornelius Russell, John Simpson, and Thadeus Weed.
