Most photographers were located in New York; W. Lampmann (no. 10) in Dresden. Nos. 5 and 11, a tintype, do not identify a photographer.
Number 9 depicts Robert Anderson in uniform and bears his signature; in no. 3, Robert Anderson, also in uniform, is seated and holds his young son, Robert Anderson VI. All others are of the son alone.
