Apparently lacking a single leaf covering 1-4 September and part of 5-7 September.
Strategic sites described include Trois Rivières, Isle aux Noix, Québec, Sorrell, Bay of Chalure, and others.
British ships mentioned include the Porcupine, Diana, Southerland, True Britton, Vengeance, and Richmond.
Murray describes Canadian fortifications, British appropriation of French artillery and stores left behind as they retreated, the army's supply problems, spies and deserters, British efforts to control the St. Lawrence River particularly with regard to shallow waters, Vaudriel's capitulation, and other routine matters.
In original paper wrappers; parts 2 and 3 tied with blue silk ribbon.
