Note
These engravings are all illustrations from an unknown book. Death of General Wolfe. p. 45, shows the General dying surrounded by his fellow officers and an Indian on the shoreline. Camp at Valley Forge. p. 230 shows the encampment in the winter time with Washington on horseback in the center. Battle of Bunker Hill. p. 170 shows the death of General Warren surrounded by the patriot army. Surrender of Cornwallis. p. 344 shows Cornwallis handing his sword to Rochambeau and Washington on the battlefield at Yorktown.
