Subjects include such events as the ordination of ministers, severe snow storms, the burning of Moses Verney's shop, the British evacuation of Boston (March 17, 1777), the election of members of the Committee of Safety (May 15, 1777), the opening of the port of Boston, and the confiscation of goods from Peter Mitchell's store for the use of the Colony, and the return of Dr. Green from Ticonderoga.
Also records prices paid for wood, cider, and a subscription to John Gill's Continental Journal.
