A geneological tabulation of George Washington's family tree beginning with John Washington of Whitfield, Lancashire, during the time of Henry VI, up through the mid 20th century. The title appears in the upper left corner along with the family coat of arms. A small photomechanical reproduction of Edward Savage's painting of George and Martha Washington with "grandchildren" Eleanor and George Washington Parke Custis appears in the upper right corner. Below the tabulation are footnotes, and in the lower right corner, a listing of the ownership of Mount Vernon from 1674 up to the acquisition by the Mt. Vernon Ladies Association in 1858.
