"Know ye that whereas David Mitchell late of Frederick now of Washington County has surveyed for him a tract or parcel of land ... containing eighty eight acres and one half acre called Love in a Village lying in Washington county ... by virtue of ... a special warrant for one hundred acres granted him out of the proprietary land office the twenty sixty day of February [1776] ... the said State doth hereby grant unto him ... all ... the aforesaid tract."
