The text on the colored lithographed poster reads as follows: Scribner's Magazine. The story of the Revolution, by Senator Lodge - a new sort of history - told vividly as a story - it throws new light on an old subject - runs through the year. Many rich illustrations - made specially for the story by Howard Pyle, Clinedinst, Peixotto, Chapman, Yohn, and 20 other celebrated artists - give a new idea of historic battles, etc. $3.00 a year - 25 cents a number. To the left is a portrait of a revolutionary offficer in uniform carrying a rifle. .
The poster, in fair condition, has been purchased with foam board backing and is shrink wrapped.
