"[A]t the rate of two pence half penny stirling per ration deducted from the subsistence of said regiment amounts to ninety four pounds six shillings and ten pence half penny ... [signed] Jo. Johnson, Q.Master 27. Regt.
The 27th Regiment, also known as the Inniskilling Fusilieres, was located in Quebec during July and August, sailing for England on 31 August -- see The Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (London, 1928), p. 507.
