Report at bottom: "Arms, accoutrements &c. in good order, greatest deficioncy in bayonetts. Those in the hands of prisoners of war are inserted "Lost in Service." Those in the hands of other prisoners inserted agains "Prisoners" because when offenders are onfined for petty offences they are generally tried and punished in a day, or two and therefore 'tis tho.t unnecessary to return their arms."
"The troops inprove in exercise and evolutions as much as may be epected .... They are in great distress for want of blanketts and shoes and their other clothing is much worn."
