Contains a defence of the theories of the Chevalier Folard against comments made by Guischardt in his Memoires militaires sur les Gres at les Romains. Guischardt responded to Lo-Looz's remarks, leading to a further reply. This controversy led Lo-Looz to abandon his historical research and take up the study of philosophy instead.
