Capt. Lakin, whose wages total more than 37 pounds, was from Pepperrell, as were many in his company -- see Mass. soldiers and sailors of the Rev. War, v. 9, p. 425-426.
Col. Robinson "of Westford" raised a regiment in May, 1777 for the defense of Boston Harbour.
