Bust to the right, in oval with drape cord in upper left and the drape covering a window pulled to reveal small opening to the right. Oval in a marble rectangular frame with laural leaves, columns and the corners of two buildings in the lower corners. The title appears in raised letters on a base below the oval. Rectangle. Single line border just outside print surface.
The portrait is after Stuart in what appears to be the Athenaeum type or perhaps a seated Landsdowne type, since the background shows a drape.
