Part 2 includes one form containing the date 1711, the year of proposed " retrenchment" of the Navy; the reorganization established the Victualling Commissioners whose appointment apparently precipitated the standardization of reporting forms.
Illustrations: colored engraving of the H.M.S. Wellington (131 guns); watercolor, signed [H.M.?] of the H.M.S. Conqueror, Centurian, and Marlborough -- an accompanying pencilled note describes the 3 ships "in a calm off Malta, the H.M.S. Centaur joining from Naples"; watercolor of the H.M.S. Caston, 10 Oct. 1834; published engraving drawn by Vandevelde and engraved by Charles Tomkins, published by G.J. & G. Robinson, August 1st 1800.
