On verso: Proof of the effectives[s]; a summary showing 24 officers and men present, 14 absent for a total of 38 in the company.
Named officers include Rufus Lincoln, Capt.; Gamielel Bradford, Lieut.; and James Sever, Ensign on duty.
Also named are serjants corporals, and privates with their dates of appointment, term of enlistment, and "remarks" -- on furlough, on duty, died, etc.
Three servants appear: Ceser [sic] Perry, Servt. to Col. Gimat; M[irick?] Willson, Servant Gen. Glover; Prince Seward, Servant Maj. Danby. Also Jabez Jolly, drummer. Col. Gimat, an aide-de-camp to Lafayette, was wounded at Yorktown.
On verso: Sworn before me at West Point this 22d day of Jan.y 1782 [signed] Rufus Lincoln Capt. [and] John Paterson B.Genl.
