Note
Engraving of a square, pedistal monument with a lidded urn on top. The side is a tablet is inscribed as follows: "Sacred to the memory of the Hon.ble Philip Livingston, who died June 12th 1778, aged 63 years; while attending the Congress of the United States at York, Pa. as a delegate from the state of New York. Eminently distinguished for his talents & rectitude, he deservedly enjoyed the confidence of his country, & the love & veneration of his friends & children. This monument is erected by his grandson, Stephen Van Rensseler."
