The minutes of the Kingston Chamber of Commerce from its founding Nov. 26, 1778 to Feb. 24, 1780. The Chamber of Commerce was established as a mercantile society during the American Revolution to further the interests of the Jamaica merchants and planters.
Includes letters from Sir Peter Parker concerning Royal Navy protection of merchant convoys to Britain.
