"Préface de la [sic] ouvrage de Folard, intitulé 'Nouvelles décourvertes sur la guerre." in French and English on opposite pages: p. 34-47.
In addition to the work of Folard, the anonymous compiler mentions Saxe, LeBlond, Guibert, and Turrenne among others.
