Head and shoulders, slightly to the right, in uniform, with the Eagle of the Society of the Cincinnati pinned to the base of his left lapel just above the point where his coat is buttoned. The rectangular engraving has a double line border 2/16.
At the top of the sheet is written: "For Sec. General of the Soc. of the Cincinnati."
Charles Cotesworth Pinckney was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of South Carolina and served as President General of the Society from 1805-1825.
